1. Introduction

“This quarter, River explored deeper lessons in language, math, and culture. He enjoyed reading stories in English and Filipino, practiced solving subtraction and multiplication in Math, and discovered more about the history and uniqueness of his own community in Araling Panlipunan. He also expressed creativity through arts, music, and physical activities, while learning to care for himself and his community.”

• Naiuugnay ang sariling karanasan sa binasa/napakinggan na kuwento

• Naibibigay ang susunod na mangyayari sa isang kuwento

• Nailalarawan ang mga tauhan, tagpuan, at banghay ng kuwento

• Nakasusulat ng talata at liham nang may wastong baybay at bantas

Progress: River is now more confident in retelling stories in Filipino. He can identify characters and settings, and writes short paragraphs with correct spelling and punctuation.

📖 English

• Identifies parts of a book (title, author, illustrator)

• Generates ideas and writes simple sentences about illustrations

• Identifies sequence of events and predicts story outcomes

• Spells high-frequency CVC pattern words (cat, dog, sun, etc.)

Progress: River enjoys predicting story endings and answering Who/What/Where questions after reading. He spells short words independently and can write sentences about pictures.

🔢 Math

• Subtracts 2- to 3-digit numbers with and without regrouping

• Solves word problems involving subtraction and money

• Introduced to multiplication through repeated addition and arrays

• Visualizes multiplication tables of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10

Progress: River can solve subtraction problems confidently, including money problems. He began learning multiplication and recognizes arrays as “groups of objects.”

🌍 Araling Panlipunan

• Nakapagsasalaysay ng pinagmulan ng sariling komunidad

• Nailalahad ang mga pagbabagong naganap (heograpiya, politika, ekonomiya, sosyo-kultural)

• Naiuugnay ang mga sagisag/istruktura sa kasaysayan ng komunidad

• Naihahambing ang sariling komunidad sa iba pang komunidad

Progress: River asked elders about the history of the community. He compared Baguio with nearby towns in terms of livelihood and traditions.

💖 GMRC / Health

• Describes ways of caring for eyes, ears, skin, hair, and teeth

• Practices daily hygiene and self-management skills

• Shows respect for others by practicing good manners

Progress: River became more responsible in brushing his teeth and washing his hands before eating. He reminds his siblings to care for their health too.

• Moves forward, backward, sideward in pathways and planes

• Performs activities with correct posture and body mechanics

Music

• Identifies pitch (so, mi, la, re) and sings songs with correct pitch

• Demonstrates melodic contour through singing and body movement

Arts

• Designs sea/forest animals with textures and patterns

• Creates jeepney or tricycle outline showing rhythm through lines, shapes, and colors

Progress: River enjoys singing with movement and designed a jeepney artwork with bright colors. He also loves moving with music during PE activities.

“This quarter, I saw River becoming more curious about stories and history. He is learning independence in his studies and also showing discipline in his daily habits.”
