1. Overview

This quarter, Rain continued building strong foundations in reading, writing, math, values, and community awareness. His confidence in communicating and participating in activities grew steadily. He also explored arts, music, and movement while understanding basic ideas about family, community, and Filipino identity.


2. Subject Progress


✏️ Language

Skills Developed:

  • Identifying naming words and action words

  • Using describing words in simple sentences

  • Speaking in complete thoughts

  • Following 1–2 step instructions

  • Practicing polite expressions in communication

Progress:
Rain can form short sentences and express his ideas more clearly. He follows instructions well and uses describing words like “big,” “small,” “happy,” and “sad.” His confidence during oral activities increased.


📚 Reading & Literacy

Skills Developed:

  • Reading CVC words

  • Blending and segmenting simple sounds

  • Recognizing beginning, middle, end of stories

  • Sequencing story events

  • Answering "Who, What, Where" questions

  • Predicting story outcomes

Progress:
Rain is steadily improving in reading. He can decode many CVC words independently and enjoys storytelling. He shows comprehension by answering questions and retelling stories in correct order.


🔢 Math

Skills Developed:

  • Addition and subtraction up to 20

  • Using objects, drawings, and mental strategies

  • Solving simple word problems

  • Comparing numbers

  • Skip counting by 2s, 5s, 10s

  • Recognizing halves and wholes

Progress:
Rain enjoys hands-on math. He uses counters and pictures to solve equations and understands the idea of “sharing” when learning halves. He also practices skip counting during games and songs.


💖 GMRC – Good Manners and Right Conduct

Skills Developed:

  • Identifying and managing feelings

  • Showing respect to family and peers

  • Practicing honesty

  • Sharing and taking turns

  • Following home and learning rules

Progress:
Rain expresses his feelings more calmly and uses polite expressions naturally. He shows kindness to siblings and listens respectfully during lessons. His cooperation and patience improved this quarter.


🇵🇭 Makabansa (Araling Panlipunan + PE + Music + Arts)

A. Araling Panlipunan

Skills Developed:

  • Identifying members of the family

  • Understanding roles and responsibilities at home

  • Recognizing community helpers

  • Showing love and appreciation for family and community

  • Understanding basic Filipino values such as cooperation and respect

Progress:
Rain recognizes different family roles and explains how each person helps at home. He can name community helpers and what they do. He demonstrated appreciation of Filipino values like “paggalang” and “tulong-tulong.”


B. PE (Physical Education)

Skills Developed:

  • Moving through straight, curve, and zigzag pathways

  • Following rhythm using body movements

  • Practicing balance and coordination

Progress:
Rain enjoys running, hopping, and movement games. He can follow rhythms and shows better control of his movements.


C. Music

Skills Developed:

  • Identifying loud/soft, high/low sounds

  • Clapping steady beats

  • Singing simple melodies

Progress:
Rain participates actively in singing and rhythm activities. He claps in time with the beat and enjoys music-based games.


D. Arts

Skills Developed:

  • Coloring neatly and inside the lines

  • Creating simple patterns

  • Using cut-and-paste techniques

  • Making artworks from shapes and natural materials

Progress:
Rain’s fine motor skills improved. He enjoys art tasks and can follow steps carefully. His patterns and drawings show creativity.

“I like making art and reading stories. Math is fun when I use toys. I want to do more crafts and learn new stories next time!”
